To build a vibrant Monadnock Community Market in downtown Keene we need you! Join us at our Spring Ambassadors Training!
What: Ambassador Training
When: Wednesday, April 27, 2011, 6:30-8pm
Where: Mill Building on Castle Street
RSVP: Call 603-504-2906 or email bethmartin@peak.org
Now that we have over 600 member owners we are at a critical point to continue the growth of our co-op. In order to do that effectively we need co-op volunteers trained in the region to be articulate spokespeople, able to answer questions, dispel myths and inform interested people within our region about what a co-op is (and is not), how we fund it, how we run it and how they can contribute to making fresh, local and organic food a key part of our community.
When you leave you will have the skills to share:
• Monadnock Community Market History
• What Our Store Will Be Like
• What are Member Owner Benefits
• How it will positively impact our regional economy
• How Our Co-op is Funded
• How People Can Support the Co-op
Speakers: Project Director, Bonnie Hudspeth and Marketing Committee Chair, Rich Grogan
Directions: Mill Buildings Community Room, Senior Housing complex on Castle Street
To get there: go north on Ashuelot Street, away from the Colony Mill Marketplace. At the intersection of Castle Street, turn left into the housing complex. Follow the driveway to the end. We will meet in the attached small brick buildings. Try not to park in tenant parking spaces.
We look forward to seeing you!
